Day 7 - Hello Premium

So it's day 7 and that little ticking clock tells me that I have 1 hour 52 minutes an 39 seconds left til my special upgrade offer expires.

Now, I've known from day 1 that I would be upgrading, but I wanted to see what the experience was like for a starter. I wanted to see how much training I could get done, how far I could get with my sites, etc.

I am fairly experienced with website development, including WordPress which I've used for the last few years, so I found the basic training to be a bit slow going through. But for a beginner I think it's fantastic. Step by step, follow and do what it says and you'll get your website built. And I came nowhere near to finishing all the training available to Starter members. I only discovered the classroom link on Day 4, and after that found so many training videos from members...I think you could go for a couple of months at least as a beginner and find new things to learn.

And for any Starter member readers out there I'll let you know that I've got my 2 websites live, pages and posts written, and would feel comfortable sharing them as finished. I do plan to move them to my own domains though, and would like to have more sophisticated styling, so I won't share them just yet. I design websites for other businesses, so my sites have to look a bit more sophisticated I think. They're definitely OK to run a business off though as is!

And while I've been building websites for some time, affiliate marketing is a new area for me, so I have a lot to learn here at WA. Plus, there's lots of areas where my WordPress skills can improve, I'm no guru there, so the training here at WA is of great value to me.

OK, that clock hasn't stopped ticking. I'm off to sign up now before my husband distracts me and I lose out on that discount!

Edit: OK so I couldn't post this before upgrading, my last blog was less than 24 hours ago and only 1 post a day allowed for starters! And first 3 Months of being Premium... slight frustration there, but I'll cope.
