Day 2 - Settling into WA
Ok, so I've got my websites set up (both on siterubix.com at this point. I've got actual content happening on my cooking blog - the affiliate blog is still very empty. Please check it out and let me know what you think. I hope it makes you hungry :) Lots more recipes to come - I've only got two blog posts up now. But tonight's dinner will go up tomorrow!

I managed to mess up the footer late last night trying to get a link to my privacy policy in there. I've done this so many times in wordpress - when will I learn to back up the code before I change it??? Anyway, I'm not going to stress about it - I'll probably choose a different them when I switch to a premium account and set up my own domain, so I'll sort that out then.
Signed up as an affiliate at Amazon today - I think that was a mistake as my website isn't indexed yet and I only have 30 days to generate a sale on amazon before they delete my account. I really need to push that blog hard now!
And I've got 35 lovely people following me - how cool is that?! Really liking the community here at WA so far.

Nice! I will check out your site. You should put it on the right side under your photo so we can get the link to it! My daughter is always telling me to back things up as well. : )
Go to your profile, on the right side under your photo you should see a blue tab "manage my sites" Click on it and it will give you a list where you can add the url to your website and it should list it on your profile page.
Thanks - but I'm not seeing that blue tab. Maybe it's only there for premium memberships? I'll find out soon enough I guess.

That sounds yum! I've been reading all of your blogs here. You have a really good writing flow that I have been able to read, even with the kids distracting me. That's a huge compliment, because I have (self-diagnosed) A.D.D. I usually start reading someone's blog and have to go back over and over til I finally just give up. :/
