Should I do this, or should I do that?

Should I do this, or should I do that? This is a question all people come up against at least once in their life. I am a 69 year old female and I can't tell you how many times I've asked myself that question. Most of the time I chose the wrong answer and ended up in a pile of junk. You can dwell on the question for days, weeks or even months and end up doing nothing. Or you can choose to do something and have it blow up in your face. Or you can choose an answer and heave a sigh of relief because you just know it's the right answer........and then it blows up in your face.

Sometimes you hit the nail on the head and your so excited you can hardly breath............and you don't breathe because your waiting for the other shoe to drop.

After a few days you think all is well and you did good, only to find a glitch in the plan. That's when you sit there in disbelief and do nothing.

You don't look for a solution, no siree, you just sit there, starring out into space as if time stood still. You see, your waiting for a solution to fall in your lap from the heavens above. You wait for 1, 2, 3 minutes and nothing happens. You wait for 1, 2, 3 days and nothing happens, but your still sitting there waiting.

My Mother use to scream at me to do something, anything to make things happen. She would tell me that you had to stir up the clouds to see the sunlight. I would stir up the clouds and get rain. Now that I am older I know what she meant, but back when I was young it all sounded goofy to me. She would tell me that sometimes you have to make a choice to get things moving along. I always figured I had at least a 50/50 chance to get it right so I'd choose. Was I right or was I wrong I'm still asking myself that question. When I was 16 years old I told my parents "there is a great big world out there and I want to see what it's all about". WRONG question to ask. You remember the saying "be careful what you ask for". Well I wasn't careful and I saw and I learned and did my whole life blow up in my face, YES

So at 69 years old I'm back to the same old, life defining question,,,,,,,,Should I do this, or should I do that?

One thing I have learned is that life is like a boomerang. You throw things out and they always come back. Usually two fold. It's like a big circle, it keeps going round and round. You pick things up as you go around life and you learn what to keep and what you should throw away. Some things that you kept you should have thrown away and some things you threw away you should have kept. It is just one big dilemma.

Life is full of lessons. Most you learn from and some you closed your ears, eyes and brain to. It's when you keep making the same mistakes over and over and over again that you scream out "What is this thing called life". It hurts, it cuts, it destroys, and it breaks my heart. Then on the other hand "it's joy, it's beautiful, it fills your heart. It's like a winter day. It's crisp, it's bright, it's clean and it is all mine".

I have also learned that life is what you make it to be.

When you get to my age you have established a history. You can then look back over your life and see the good and the bad. You can separate the two and analyze each one. Some choices were wonderful and you know you answered the question of "should I do this, or should I do that?" AND some choices were so bad that you need to learn from them,,,,hopefully.

History does repeat itself. My goal was always to get to the point where I didn't repeat the bad and stayed in the lane of good. Wow, is that a trip to do. It is soo much easier to be bad and make wrong choices than good. I now have it down to a science. Don't do anything wrong or bad, just do everything good.

Life is a struggle no two words about it. It's like climbing the highest mountain. You goal is to reach the top and get around all the obstacles while your climbing. What we have to remember is how to deal with those obstacles. There is a right way and there is a wrong way.

I think all I am saying is this, "there is a positive and there is a negative. There is a ying and there is a yang. There is a opposite of everything we do in life. Should I do this? or Should I do that?

I choose to become a Wealthy Affiliate. That is one thing that I choose to do after deliberating for days. Should I do this?........... YES was my answer and the best decision of my life
