Topaz in the rough
I read a post here at WA about being a diamond in the rough... I am not really into diamonds, but I do love topaz or any blue stone for that matter.
So here I am approaching my sixth month at WA and I suppose I was a lump of coal and now I am turning into a shiny blue stone.
My niche is travel and I jumped right in to the WA BOOTCAMP right from the beginning. A mistake, maybe as it is pretty advanced but I am sticking with and have just about finished phase 3.
WHAT? Almost six months and only finishing Phase 3.............am I a turtle or what? NO!
I Still work full time and drive 32 miles each way so my days are sometimes 12 hours long. But I manage to spend at 1 to 2 hours a day learning and reading as much as I can here on WA.
OH BUT on the weekends I spend at least 8 hrs on Saturday AND 8 to 10 again on Sunday on my website and the bootcamp training.
Almost 5000 words written and most have been ranked in GOOGLE ..........very low though ....still working on my SEO.
All in all feeling pretty good about my accomplisments thus far ....many I have not mentioned.
Though I know I am a bit behind in posting blogs and such ..my priorty because of my limited time is getting through the training and writing content for my site.
So newbies, like me, do not get discouraged as I have been. And don't be afraid to make mistakes...I am the Queen of mistakes . But that's how I seem to learn best!!

Every mistake is a stepping stone and will get further apart and smaller with progress. I am 77 years of age and still making them. I only have 23 years to get them right.

This isn't a race...that's the benefit of the program. I been here over a year and still haven't finished Bootcamp! My goals are more long term. It's all good...one step at a time.
