I wonder how many emails get rejected or sent to spam because authentication fails. Do we need to do something with DKIM or DMARC? Or SPF?

You may want to reach out to site support with this.

For emails that originate from our website's domain, is dkim or dmarc configured?

Can i build a siterubix website here while my "real world" website is still up and running and then switch them out?

Did you find a solution, Irena?

This is an advanced task and I suggest you contact SiteSupport to ensure everything goes well. They will gladly help you out.

Let us know what happened in this thread.

As Shannon has mentioned, you can, yes, by using the Move function to overwrite the old website with the new website, if it’s hosted at WA.

Also, you can ask SiteSupport to create a Staging copy of your current site, so that you don’t have to start from scratch, keeping all your pages and posts with their permalinks. All you need to do is change the theme and spruce things up that way.

If the current site isn’t at WA, then you can use the SiteRubix site and then use a plugin such as All in One WP Migration or WP Clone, to backup the new site, allowing you to restore it to the old site.

I've never heard of a 'Staging copy' .. I wish I had known this was possible back when I decided to redo my whole site. It might have saved me a ton of time!

Yeah, you can either ask SiteSupport to do this for you, and they will copy your current website to a SiteRubix subdomain, or you can create a SiteRubix subdomain yourself, and then use a plugin such as All in One WP Migration or WP Clone to backup the current website, and then you restore it to the SiteRubix site.

Once you have the website how you want it, you can either ask SiteSupport to move the files to the live site, or you can repeat the process with the plugin, by backing up the new site and restoring it to the live site.

Excellent! Good to know, thanks!

Hi - If your "real world" website is hosted here at WA you can create a new siterubix site and use the Move function to move all your content over from the other site, if that's what you mean. You can also do the same with a new purchased domain name.

Hi Jaz, thanks for the swift reply.
What I try to do is revamp a stale, but functioning website, while the old one is still running and generating traffic. When the new one is ready to launch, I want the old one replaced with the new one, under the same domain name.

not sure whether that login always changes b/c WA provides the login

Hi,

All your websites can be found under Websites - Site Manager. There are login buttons for each of them with each their usernames and passwords (along with the login buttons).

You can also keep note of the address of your WordPress login and login manually / safe in your browser. That way if for example WA would be unreachable for some reason, you can still access your website through the WordPress Login.

Btw, in most cases you can find the login link all the way to the bottom of your website. There should be a button named Login.

You can also type:
yourdomain/wp-login.php

Steven

Thanks so much, Steven, very helpful!

does anyone else have problems with "pixel caffeine" not being able to connect to Facebook? Is it a security feature in WA blocking that?

Hey Irena,

For this issue you will need to go back to the plugin support page and check through to see if anyone else has suffered the same issue.

If not, then you can put in a support ticket, as they are the developers and as such are the ONLY ones to be able to help you with anything to do with their plugin.

Hope this helps you.

Thank you, Triblu, I have done that, but got no response. In looking for similar threads I read a reply that stated "...maybe had to do with the hosting service..."

To find out if that plug-in is compatible with WA hosting, open a ticket with SiteSupport.

yep, that's next. TY

I need to print out receipts for the IRS

Click on your profile. Select account settings. Scroll down to subscription settings. From here you can access your payment history details, and payment sources.

Hi Irena, it seems that WA only shows the payout history (commissions to you). If you have been paying with paypal or cards you can track the payments there...but if you need WA invoices then you should send a support ticket

If you mean within WA you would have to get in touch with Billing.
