Breakthrough Today!
I'm so proud of myself!!!!
So, I learned recently that for my website to start getting good
ranking on google I have to show Google that I'm
"active," which means I have to regularly be posting to my website.
Multiple people here have told me that I should shoot for making a post every three
to four days. EVERY THREE TO FOUR DAYS?!!! It takes me three to four
days to make a good, quality post, which is the only kind of post I want
to be making, but with all I have going on, I usually
only manage to make about one post per month! This news was really depressing to me,
and I felt that sad feeling of maybe I couldn't be successful and
eventually make money online with my website.
For over a month this has been bouncing around in my brain. I had to
solve it, and so I conceded that I would follow one person's advice who
said that you should post as often as you can, as long as it's
consistent. "Okay, so I'll start with that - one post every month -
and stay consistent." I was at least satisfied with that, it was
something, it was a start, but I wanted to do better.
But it was still there, in the back of my head, that I needed to be
making more posts, at least every week if not twice a week.
And then suddenly, unexpectedly, while I was in the shower today it hit me.
I don't need to be making some brand new post about different Tarot
cards or decks (my niche) every week - all I have to do Is make a "new" post
compiling the last three Instagram posts I made into a "Weekly Guidance"
post!
I was ecstatic!! I couldn't WAIT to get to my computer and start writing!
The best thing is - all the work is already done for me - I already did
it! When I do a Tarot reading, I journal it by hand, I then condense and
refine that into an Instagram post, and I take a REALLY NICE photo of
the card. I love doing this because it helps me really articulate what
I'm learning from today's guidance, AND I love taking nice photos of
Tarot cards, AND I get to showcase another artist's deck and give them
some free advertising and make them feel good about someone using and
loving their art.
So I already do that work anyway, and it takes hours every week, but
it's important to me. And now, with my new idea, I can make it even more
valuable and profitable to me.
So I actually have this little card stand that can fit three
Tarot/Oracle cards on it and, as I do my readings throughout the week, I
put the cards I draw onto it until I reach three, and then I put those
cards back and start with one again. I've always thought it's really
cool to see what three cards end up together, because they end up being
from three totally different decks, and often completely different art
styles, and it's just really cool seeing the story they paint, these
three randomly patched together cards. I set it up as inspiration for
myself to look at all day while I write at the computer, and I even add
crystals in the little places the card stand maker carved out to place
things in, and the crystals I change up about every week too (whatever
crystals I'm drawn to that week or want to incorporate their energy into
my life).
I always thought, "Wow, I love seeing what three cards end up together.
I wish I had a way to preserve what combination ends up happening every
week, but I've already posted about those cards on instagram." But now,
with my new idea, I can! Because I can use a photo of all three cards
together as my cover photo for that week's post!
IT'S ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!!!!!
I'm recycling hard work I've already done, turning it into a post that
has VALUE and is BEAUTIFUL and is HELPFUL to people, and, best of all, now
I'm providing fresh, new content to my site at least once a week!!!!
It's actually perfect! Because three of my IG posts together comes out to about
250 words, and when I write some extra reflections (which I don't get to
do on Instagram) about the cards I drew, it comes out to the perfect,
target about of 500-1000 words for a post.
I'm so excited and blown away that this idea was given to me this
morning, that I received this guidance from God, my angels, my
ancestors, my guides, and whoever is out there and around me and within
me helping me out and guiding me <3 I'm so ecstatic to do this, and,
best of all, it's fun! I'm actually excited to do it!
You can check out my
first Weekly Guidance & Inspiration post on my website based off the
cards I drew this week, if you feel so drawn to do so:

As I look at my site I realize how none of this would have been possible without the training, guidance, and community of WA. Thank you guys so much for always being there <3
