Ok WA community, I love to write and usually it just freely flows. Why are my first few post on my page taking me so long?? Will it get easier over time? I surely hope so ... <

It does get easier over time. My process is to write introduction, conclusion, and an outline for the middle by writing either a brief note or single sentence for each part I plan to write. Then I take a break for 5-10 minutes. When I come back, I fill in the outline. Then another break. 5-10 minutes later, I paste my work in site content, give it a brief edit, add pics, and post it. I don't write in site content itself because I find the notifications and WA social stuff distracting.

Yes, it does get easier. Try not to think, just write.

Hey, if I can tell you that I had "Writer's Block" while I was writing my "About Me" page and my first post. I think it took me 5 days for the About Me page and 3 or 4 for my first posts because I wanted everything to be right for my readers and I was worried if people thought my writings were garbage. But after I cleared my head, I really didn't care what other people thought as long as I was expressing the article for my readers and I was. So don't worry and do what you need to do to get it out.

You are using new writing muscles here, thinking about a lot of other things than just words on pages. Like every other muscle, with time and practice, it becomes stronger and posts will be easier!

It takes a little time to get a rhythm down. I've found that picking my keyword, making that my primary topic and then brainstorming supporting topics to use as my content helps a lot. I then use those supporting topics as my chapter headings.

Lord! I asked myself that question so many times. The answer is YES! After a few months, you will start to be surprised that you already have written your 1000 words. You will say: "hey! I still have a few points to talk about". Then you will have problems again. After a while you will feel that you will get more and more of that surprise.

One technique I used because I was so despaired: when you write like you talk to a friend, it's easier.

Hello, yes writing will start freely flowing for you again. Not sure what kind of writing you have done in the past but this may be different. When I first started I struggled and now the hardest thing to do is find something to write about and finding the keywords for it.
Like Kyle and many others have said, just start writing. Don't worry about it being perfect as you write. When done, go back and proof read, make changes and to it if necessary.

I find after I've read what I wrote some idea pop in my head to add to the article and I get more total words without being repetitive.

Don't worry your flow will come back.

I am pretty sure that as you start writing more and more , it will get easier.I had never written any articles before, but now it is easier for me to write one Also you need to find a niche that you are comfortable with.Good luck

The more you write, the easier it becomes.

Make sure to be consistent. Write daily.

:)

Nicole it does get easier over time, it can be overwhelming with so many ideas buzzing around, or at least thats what I found untiL i decided to focus on the area, that works for me and now it just flows so easily... &

My list gets built very well indeed

That may be of benefit

Will I be able to change the default images within my website theme? Liked the layout of the site, font. etc but the images I need to customize to my niche.

Hi Nicole. You sure can. And you can find great free images online if you look around. I use pixabay.com and pexels.com fairly often.
Cheers,
Suzanne

Thank you so much! I’ll definitely take a look.

Hi Nicole!
Sure, you can always change the default images to the ones proper to your niche.
Hope this helps,
Tom
