I was trying to add a footer to place my privacy page on. My theme has 2 menus and I use the top one. The other one is a side menu. Now it is show "set up yr menu" on the m

Why not just create a custom menu on your sidebar?
Then you just transfer your privacy into it.
I notice you dont have a disclaimer so you should have one of those and place it with your privacy in the same menu.
Robert

Thank you Robert, I have 2 menu's one is called top and one main. I tried to create a new menu but it doesn't show on the website. How do I do that?

It will depend on what Theme you are using.
Some have 2.3 and sometimes 4 menus.
If you only have the two default ones then you are using a theme that only comes with those though I'm surprised they actually exist.
Go into Appearances - Widgets - and see what you have there.
If there's nothing then I suggest you change your theme.
(what theme is it and I will take a looksee).
Robert

Thank you Robert, the theme is Flatly

Had a looksee and its your theme.
It only supports two Menus I'm afraid.
Best to change it to something else.
Easy to do.
Just go into Appearances - Themes - then choose one more suited to what you want your site to look like.
Have a nice day.
Robert

You usually need to add a custom widget menu to your footer that you can add your page to, most themes don't come with footer menus by default (Though some do).

To do this, just go to "customize", click on "widgets", see if you can add anything to the footer. If so, browse through your available widgets and see if a footer menu is one of the options.

Hope this helped!

I'm sorry. I didn't see that on your page. Where does it say that?

Frank: I think that what it is saying is that sjeans menu has not been setup right. When you build a website using WordPress the first page is always going to be a listing of your blogs. The only way to change that is by setting up a "static page" or a page that basically tells your readers what the website is all about. It sounds to me like sjeans has her page menu improperly set up so that when she adds something it goes on her first page instead of where she wants it.

Setting up your menu can be a little tricky but oh so important to the way your website looks. DAN

Hello,

Can you tell me on which site I can check this, please?

Grtz,
Bert

The first page says nothing found. I can see it in the menu however. The page is there but i need to make changes. On the web my privacy pol page is first!

I think you might need to go to Appearance > Customize. and change your front page to Home.

Thank you! It worked perfectly.

I have one I'm sort of interested in but am not an expert in. It has affiliate programs though.

The way that I was told to handle this is to do research on it from many resources. Learn all there is to know about it, then build your site based on your findings.

If you're going to promote Wealthy Affiliate through an Internet Marketing type website then Bootcamp, otherwise, the green "Get Started Here" button. :)

Can I do both? or would that be too much to start?

You can do both but I wouldn't recommend it if you've never built websites or done affiliate marketing before. Best to focus on one then, use that knowledge to do a second site. :)
