Getting Traffic Is Easy

Hello WA team,

A great blogger told me recently that getting traffic is easy! In fact, he even continued to say that all that I have to do is provide people with "epic" is the word that he used and people will come running!

So, I proceeded to tell him that "ok, I understand that I have to provide people with great stuff, but how do I get them to come running on Google?".

He told me that his stuff was so awesome that it got featured in the New York Times, Yahoo News, Reddit and that one even became a trending subject on Twitter.

Ok...I understood that part. But what the heck did he write about?

Then he said, "Let me give you an example".

HE SAID: Sonia, pretend you are searching on the internet for a health issue. Let's say you have acid reflux and you want to get rid of it. What are you going to type in?

-CURE ACID REFLUX, right?

ME: Yes, of course.

HIM: Then, you shouldn't be calling your articles anything else than what people are actually typing in. Google ranks sites that are naturally awesome.

If I were to write an article on that subject, then I would call my article, then I would call it:

11 Efficient Ways To Cure Acid Reflux

ME: That's a great title! What do you mean by naturally awesome?

HIM: Let's say that your articles are so cool and awesome that people are always coming back to your site and sharing your articles. That's what Google wants!

Google's job is to provide people with the best content possible Sonia, if your's isn't that, you will not rank.

ME: WOW! Ok. I understand.

So, from now on, I am going to write my best content, from the heart, try to make it as original and useful as possible and I will call it what people are actually typing in. (searching for)
