Found my passion... Yes!!

I love social media, although my social media (facebook etc) is restricted to my close friends and family.

After seeing people go on huge negative rants and share a lot of inappropriate things online I have a "rule" in that I only share positive posts - for many reasons that include (but not limited to):

• I have young family members (cousins, nieces and nephews) that interact with my page - positive role modelling is important given the crap that is out there on the internet.
• For my own peace of mind, I like be the optimist and see the blessings and the good in everything...even though some things can be hurtful or painful, there will be a lesson in there somewhere. I am human and do have down days too, but keeping the cheesy "attitude of gratitude" helps put our problems into perspective when you consider what many other people have to endure in this world.
• To inspire and motivate others to do the same.

If I get one person tell me they like what I say or the articles I share then I think that is a success! I often have my friends and family messaging me about the content saying they enjoy it and that it is a nice refreshing change...awesome!

For these (and many other) reasons, I've decided that my first WA blog/website is going to be about Gratitude...

Why? Because I would like to extend further beyond my social networks and share some of this gratitude!

I know there are a lot of other sites out there that do this - but I am using this passion of mine (reaching other people) as a learning tool - to learn how to set up and use Wordpress and the tools needed!

I do appreciate that this is not everyone's "cup of tea" which is fine - preference and choice makes our world the wonderful and diverse place it is - but I am certainly looking forward to the challenge!...So watch this space... (will take me a little while..slow and steady learning going on!)
