SiteComments
Hi there, just wanted to share with you something that I noticed. On my website movie-reviewz.com I have an article about the movie troy, which ranks on google on page 2. It isn't that fascinating, but I get frequent traffic from google with this article. All other posts are on page 3 or less. So I analyzed the post about the movie troy:
- I always target one keyword in an article and use it in the header... and so on
- I link out to a relevant site (in this case wikipedia)
- I put a video on the site and an image
That's the standard of my articles... I normally do this for every article I post...
So the difference I noticed are the COMMENTS. I have much more comments on this article than on the other ones, so now I am going to use SiteComments more frequently!
(I noticed too, that in the comments something with "troy" is written in it, so maybe it has to do something with it too)
If you know more details about this, please share your knowledge with us.

That brings up a related point about comments. Consider your reply to a comment, and how you can, in natural conversation, integrate your keyword phrase or part of it into your reply.
A targeted discussion in the comment section can certainly boost what Google considers your "authority", which in turn has a huge impact on where you appear in search.

Yeah, I always try to integrate the main keyword into comments and the explanation why you rank better with some comments for me would be:
1. Google has more text to analyze and can see your keyword more often (higher density), but in a natural way (you don't spam)
2. with comments you show google, that your site is kind of "popular", that people are interested in your site
Well, I didn't thought that comments could be this powerful...

Oh wow! I have used several keywords in my posts too. I don't know the rank of my site yet, but I also agree that Site Comments is a great place to attract traffic :)
You should check your rank, so that you know which sites to improve ;) If you use jaaxy, there is a function to check the site ranking
Yeah, I underrated the power of SiteComments.
