7 Things to Consider Starting on Your Blog to Success.

I wanted to start blogging but there is so much information out there. There is so much to learn! So I've been looking around for some tips all over the interwebs for how to start a successful blog and here are some helpful tips that I found helpful and you might find helpful too!

1. Start with a topic/niche I am familiar and passionate about that has the potential to be a business in the future. Do a keyword research tool.

2. Appearances matter and first impressions makes a difference, a good looking website might have a better chance to stand out. Theme selection is important, choose something that is clean, mobile responsive and fast.

3. Have at least 3 months worth of content before publishing my site. This is important for me to accomplish, a house that is not yet built is not a house worth looking at.

4. Planning and creating a blog post schedule, what topics to post and how often. I will try to do 3x a week.

5. Word count is also important for rankings, I will aim at a goal of 1000 words per blog post with a eye catching headline and image.

6, Not giving up and consistently posting even if I do not feel like posting. Most people give up for a few days of starting a blog, I know been there done that. But think about what it would cost me not to do this things.

7. Last but not the least, I will try to create an email list this is probably the most important if not the most important part, an email list is an asset!
