Honestly, when people talk about Pinterest , I feel like most of them don't really get it. A lot of adults just see it as a crafty mood board app, but for me, it is literally a vibe. Gen Z, especially doesn't use it the way older generations do. We're not pinning random images - we're curating worlds, aesthetics and even parts of ourselves.

For me personally, Pinterest is this weird mix of inspiration and obsession. It's where I go when I need style ideas, home inspo, or even just a mental escape. I'll admit it, I spend hours scrolling through layouts, fashion boards, or even weirdly specific niche stuff that speaks to me. It's like the app knows exactly what kind of chaos I like in my life.

But here's the thing - Gen Z isn't just consuming content, we're remixing it. We take those Pinterest boards and turn them into TikToks, Instagram feeds, and even our personal aesthetics in real life.

Pinterest isn't just an app- it's the blueprint for a whole vibe, and for me it is almost therapeutic. I can literally spend 30 minutes making a board that is just "mood for rainy days or "if I ever had my dream bedroom" and it feels like I have a created a little world that is mine.

Also, I love that Pintertest isn't as performative as other platforms. You don't need likes or followers to enjoy it, and for someone like me who is constantly juggling the chaos of social media, it is refreshing to have a space that is just quiet in a Gen Z way.

Honestly, if you haven't reallt explored Pinterest as a Gen Z-er, you're missing out. It's not about crafts or cooking hacks- it's about expression, creativity and a little bit of escapism all rolled into one. And I mean , if I'm going to be spending hours online, it might as well feel like me
