Hi, if I want to move my domain and hosting somewhere else do I have 30 days after cancelling my membership to do this or how does it work?

Hi, no you have to arrange alternative hosting before your subscription ceases, as site support back ups only are valid for 60 days only.

Once subscriptions ceases you'd be locked out the platform.

I would back up sites, I would use the AIO WP Migration and Updraft plugins. UpdraftPlus is a premium and highly recommended.

There used to be a 30 day period given but that does not apply anymore. This is a post from Kyle detailing what happens now: Good luck, Shannon

And what if I want to change my subscription from yearly to monthly, do I lose access to everything then?

you may have to cancel and then come back
so for a few days you will lose access to the paltform and your site will be down for the time period you are not paying
or you can go through hte contact page
wealthyaffiliate.com/contact
select billing and ask them how to go about it
they should be able to help you with no interruptions to your service
phil

Just so you're aware, judging from your start date of Dec 2019, you are grandfathered in to the cheaper pricing and the higher website allowance of 25/25. If you were to cancel and then again renew your subscription you would lose this status ... upon return you would pay the higher membership rate and only be entitled to the 10 websites. You might want to consider these things when making your decision.

Good luck in whatever you decide!
Best, Shannon

What you may well lose is access to members' training that set their training to annual only. Every member has the right to set the terms for their own training and some choose to make it accessible only to annual members

apaprently not anymore
you really are better off moving before the end of your contract here as you will get no support after this date....
so if you are thinking of moving, have a few days spare ...just in case there are issues
and decide if you have bought your site here whether you want to transfer the domain registrar or just change the nameservers to change the host company.
but get it sorted beofre the end of your contract
good luck
phil

Hi - no, once your membership ends, you will lose access to this platform. You would not be able to move your domain unless you paid a further month. You need to do it before your membership expires.

Is the content the most important in a website and the amount of articles or the keywords? Can someone find your website if it's new and there is no content yet but there is SE

Mark answered the question
Joe

Thanks Joe :)

Hello Silviya!

NO. They will see you but they will pass by! If there is no content. that is my opinion!

Cheers! let me know if you need help I will try my best to give you the answer!

Florentino

Thank you so much! I was just thinking because I don't have content yet, so I have to hurry, I don't want people to remember my website like that :)

No matter what, Keep dog a blog. Whatever the best has done publish it. A lot of us here would give you encouragement and sometimes you will pick up suggestions. Cheers. Surely I will read and give you guidelines

Thanks again :)

Kyle has taught that too much emphasis is placed on the Keywords at the expense of good articles. He suggests writing your article first as that in itself will be loaded with keywords.

Our goal is to engage visitors to become customers. That is how we get paid. Google also looks for quality articles and lots of it in order to send traffic to it. You can easily rank and #1 and have zero traffic. I don't think you want that do you?

I suggest going through the lessons and follow them. If you already knew how to be a successful affiliate marketer you didn't need to join Wealthy Affiliate. I feel you joined to learn the formula to success.

You can do it. Just stay focused and don't try to second guess the system.

All the best to you.

Edwin

Thank you for the answer! I'm still at the beginning, I joined less than a month ago, so I have a lot to learn even things that for you may be simple now. I have an empty website with no content, not fully set up yet. I am trying to understand how everything works, not to second guess the system to be honest, especially not having the knowledge yet! All the best to you too.

Mark has the answer for you. Besides being indexed, there is always the human factor. With the exception of your domain name, how does one find you when there is no content?

Looks like it's possible, obviously you should have content, I'm still doing the lessons and haven't started with the content yet but it's nice you can be indexed, it's still something :)

You can get indexed with just your domain name and a bare bone site. It happened to me before with zero content on the site. Rankings? No.

Thank you, Mark, I'm still learning :)

How long should be your content? Is it better to be short and to the point and easy to read with more pictures or longer with more keywords? I will write my first one soon and

Hi Sisana
The length of the content sometimes depends on the message you want to put out there. However , you can start with 500 words, then to 1000 words , until you get your strength of understanding your competition. Hope are i have offered clarity to your question.
Good luck, you can make it!!

Thank you for the help :)

WA advises that each post has a minimum of 1,000 words, more is better. My articles usually contain between 1,300 and 1,600 words. Paragraphs should be concise with clear headlines. One keyword in the title and a repeat in the first 100 words. A 100 to 150 words per paragraph will do. It does not need to be a scientific article, but needs to be relevant to your niche, helpful and thought provoking. Good luck!

Thank you so much! That's a great help :)

They have a great lesson in the training about this. Plus when you're writing, the content tool when writing blog posts helps you track your writing as well. It tracks the number of paragraphs, words, everything! Just stick with the training. It will give you all that you need!!!
Christine

Thank you! I have a lot to learn! Good luck in your business :)
