Periscope? Periscope!

Hi all, I have been away from WA for a few months - too much going on with day to day living. But I recently came upon Periscope (granted, it has only been out for about 2 months) and am very excited about its possibilities for business. Especially also since I have read that the videos (broadcasts they are called on Periscope) can be saved to one's camera roll, edited and then uploaded to one's website or YouTube or whatever. In other words, the fleeting moment/interview/impression/experience does not disappear but can be put to good use elsewhere.
IMHO, this opens a whole slew of possibilities. Given that the trend nowadays is toward instant authenticity, Periscope hits the nail on the head. Glossy, professionally made videos, which are so obviously aimed at selling you something have their justification and their place in the marketing repertoire, but everyone is talking about the trend going personal - just take a look at Instagram, Tumblr, Pinterest, etc. and how their success has influenced marketing in general.
At any rate, I am very curious how this new app will play out. BTW, I am aware there is also Meercat, but, given that Periscope is owned and pushed by Twitter, I believe that in the long run, Periscope is going to dominate the market (until the next hot app comes along ;-))
Would love to hear your experiences and opinions about this!
