A suggestion if you want to get indexed faster. Get an independent domain name if you can.
I know when I got mine, http://thebettermartialartist.com, there was moment of "here goes nothing" because I felt like I was finally venturing into the deep end of the pool.
Good news, though. The lifeguards watch the whole pool.
