Site comments (2)
It was some two and a half years ago that WA introduced a great new feature: Site comments. Its purpose: to give and receive quality comments to your website posts/pages. For every two comments you will receive one in return and is has worked perfectly for me.
Recently I have noticed some subtle changes. The comments come a little bit later than
before and for the first time I have not received a comment to a post for 6 days. And all my comments had been approved. Furthermore I see many articles for the same websites, unlike before.
The reason I am writing this is two-fold. I would like to discover whether the interest for this feature is waning? Or is it because many newcomers do not yet know about the comment section?

Thanks for this reminder. Sometimes I get so caught up in other things I forget about that feature.
I am a relative newbie, and didn't know about this...so have never used it. When I have looked to trade comments, I've done so through the thread within Wealthy Affiliate: Need website comments? the give and take comment thread I see that I'm missing out on credits though, so perhaps it's time to start using the siterubix platform. Thanx for pointing this out!

After reading your post I went to Site Comments. The first page offered I declined, the second looked interesting. I read it all and (through inexperience) simply left her a comment on her website. Then I realized my mistake and was going to leave her a follow-u p comment via Site Comments, but it wouldn't let me - asked for an email associated with my gravatar. Which involves a nearly 16-minute tutorial about how to create a gravatar - which on top of that will involve finding a suitable photograph to upload...
Not surprised it takes days to get a comment. (I still haven't set up my gravatar account and will probably give Site Comment, that I would actually enjoy, a miss... If you look at the comments underneath the gravatar instructions, you will find that I am not the only frustrated person. Kyle mentions to leave a comment and he will 'help us out' but scrolling back 6 months I didn't see him answer a single question.)
Sorry for the rant...
We all have our issues, but it is the way you handle them or overcome them that makes you successful. You said that you declined the first article offered. Have you noticed that you can choose the type of articles to comment on?
Thank you. Yes, I set up the categories I am interested in, but because I had ticked something like health and fitness, the first article offered to me was on a health issue I didn't really want to know more about.
I haven't used it for quite some time, probably won't for another couple of months, if at all.
It is a powerful feature that can add a lot of value to an article, perhaps it is more that newer folks don't know about it, thank you for the reminder.
