I am Officially a "Web Designer"

I'm a Web Designer... Apparently!
Today I wen't to my local ice-cream shop with my wife and 4 sons which has been having a bad time at the moment due to the fact that there has been a "Better" Ice-cream shop being opened not far away
Whilst waiting for our order I casually asked the owner if he had a website for the shop
He said that he didn't and was looking for someone to take care of it for him
I naturally put my services in front of him as a web designer, don't ask me why, but I did, lol
And he agreed!
The business owner asked me to pop back next week and take a look at his facebook page with the oppourtunity to be able to build a website for, what I call, the best Ice-Cream Shop around my area
He also went straight on the phone and told a friend of his who has another Ice-cream shop further away that he had somebody to help him,
I'm guessing that was me...
So now I have 2 clients that want a website built for them and they have both sent my details to other businesses that they know which have already emailed me asking for the same service,
I have had at least 12 local businesses phoning me for help with creating a website and working with their Facebook pages from these 2 businesses alone!
I have asked this question https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/local-marketing/how-much-do-you-charge-to-build-a-website-for-a-business on my profile so if anyone can answer it that would be awesome
Do I go with this method of working online or should I keep working on my own websites?
Thanks
Matthew
Damn see I knew you could do it.
That's brilliant Mathew. :) YEYY!
Woo Hoo.
Blow em away with Bing and Google my Business.
Dont forget.
Otherwise some digital company will try and edge in and charge them for it.
They are Rife in the UK. I have dealt with a digital company from Leeds. They are a nightmare and the shoddy work they offer is rubbish. They have call centres. That should give you the jist of how large these companies are. They are really rubbish at what they do too.
I know of many companies that have asked me for help.
They have bought a Website for £2,500 and that comes with no SEO at all. They have lovely looking websites but all it is good enough for is a portrait to hang on a wall.
That should give you some sort of Gist on prices. I am in London so Wales could be cheaper and it all depends on what you want to give them.
Mathew it's a damn good business to be in. :)
Wishing you all the best Mathew you deserve this for sure. :)
