I'm In Control

Well, it's been 2 months since I've joined WA, and I have to say it has truly been a learning experience, 2 months ago I had no clue how to create my own functioning website. Today I have created a website that I'm very proud of. When I look back on what my website looked like when I was just starting it up, and what it looks like now, I'm truly blown away. Since I began my training here at WA, this is what I have learned.

What I've Learned In 2 months

How to navigate through WA affiliate platform, how to create and build a website using very few steps, I've learned the importance of using key words and how vital it is to do a keyword search before you create content that you will post on your site. This step I think, is the most important because it is the foundation of your website.

The success of your website depends upon how engaging your content is. When I write a post or add other content to my website I always ask myself, " Would I want to read this? Does it come off fake or uninteresting?" Do my images flow with my content? Your images should be a visual extension of your content. That is why it is so important to choose images that are directly related to what you are writing about. If you're like me, and you're trying to build a solid email list then it is important to keep visitors to your site engaged and most importantly you want them to come back to your site. I've heard Kyle say this a lot, "People have to trust you, in order for them to buy anything from you". I believe it is good business practice when building an online business, is to ask your audience to sign up or subscribe to your news letter and in return you'll send them a free product, coupon etc... I mean if you're asking for something be prepared to give something. This builds trust between you an your audience, which is crucial to the longevity of your website, your business.

I've learned the importance of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and how it affects your rankings in Google and all the other search engines. The more content you have the better. Organization is crucial when creating your content because as you continue to add keyword rich content, you will need to start organizing that content. This will allow for easy navigation when people visit your website. I've also learned how to optimize my interaction with social media to create awareness about my site.

I've also learned, your success here at WA or anywhere, depends on you, on how much effort you're willing to put forth. Your success is based on how dedicated you are to your own success? What your goals are? Did you create a checklist of your goals? Are you holding yourself accountable? Where do you want to be in the next couple of years. These are all the questions I asked myself during my first week at WA.

Okay guy's I'm wrapping this up. I've learned many other things, but if I put everything down, I'd be at this computer all night.

My last words of wisdom. If you want it, go get it!
