I know this has nothing to do with WA lessons, but I couldn't resist sharing this report with everyone here. I've put the link below for those interested to see the actual report:

Lizard strikes human-like pose, playing guitar

Photographer Aditya Permana was observing a forest dragon lizard in Indonesia for more than an hour before the critter turned comical.

Photographer Aditya Permana was observing a forest dragon lizard in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, for more than an hour until the critter struck a human-like pose, kicking back and appearing to play a leaf guitar.

The Mirror described the comical pose as a “crazy critter” strumming on its “accou-stick instrument.”

“I did not directly photograph the lizard at first, until the lizard [felt] calm and comfortable around me,” Permanatold Caters News Agency.

Obviously the lizard felt calm and comfortable, as it laid back on a tree root, propped up an elbow, and looked to be “strumming” the leaf. So he took its photo.

“I noticed it looked like it was playing a guitar—and it didn’t move at all,” said Permana, 33.

The Mirror suggested several songs on the lizard’s set list, such as “Don’t Beleaf a Word” by Thin Lizzy, “You Can Leaf Your Hat On” by Tom Jones, “If You Leaf Me Now” by Chicago, “Karma Chameleon” by Culture Club, and “Don’t Leaf Me This Way” by Thelma Houston.

As kicked back as this lizard appears, think less Jimi Hendrix and more John Denver.

I hope every one will appreciate the wonders of God's creations, where this picture above will bring a smile even to a scoliodentosaurophobic person.

God bless everyone that's got a smile right now, and yes, go out and smile at everyone you see. Today is a good day.

Blessings...

Shirley

Shirley, I just read your Day 21 Blog. ...... I loved it! I think everyone here can identify with your feelings and the sense of overwhelm can be huge... yet it is all so worth it. Especially as you are interested in this for your son too. I am exactly the same. I am super interested myself in learning marketing, yet in the background, I am thinking of ways to inspire my children to make the absolute most out of everything. I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed your Day 21 blog because it was from the heart!

Really? Well thank you for visiting and understanding a mom's feeling. My son's not at all...and wondering what all the fuss's about?

I thank you for your encouragement and will impose on your goodwill with a picture...and God bless you,
Shirley

Brilliant!

Hi Alison, he is, isn't he? I'm thinking the little critter brought a lot of smiles to a lot of people who had nothing to smile about, and I thank God for that...
Bless you for visiting this page...

Absolutely delightful snapshot of real life! This beats cartoons depicting a cricket playing a fiddle! Lol!

HaHaah, totally agree with you. The Creator always has one up for us mortals, so we can have a good laugh. HE's wonderful.
God bless...

You had me at scoliodentosaurophobic. I happen to love lizards, so all is good. :)

For the uninitiated, my son tells me that scoliodentosaurophobic means a person who's scared of lizards.

So you can't enjoy the sensation.... that leaves you out Sarah. Too bad!!??

Bless you for noticing. I was so proud to put that big word there....
Shirley

Thanks a lot, Shirley.

Thank you Pastor. One question I would like to pose...how do we know it's not actually strumming on the leaf guitar?

Isn't HE great? God bless,
Shirley

Oh...good question, Shirley, with a little imagination, I can hear the music. Have a great day.

That is really cool and put a smile on my face. Thanks for sharing this with us!

that's all I the thanks I need, but credit do go to the photographer who was blessed to get that particular shot. You can't pose wild critters.
I just had to share the whole article.
Bless you...
Shirley

How cute is that! I love the ideas for the songs LOL. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, I do too, and you're so welcome. I'm a John Denver generation tho' so will be thinking different tunes (I'm no musician,so how I'm going to do that is a puzzle).
Blessings...Shirley

how cool is that! critters are smarter than we think, this lizard knows what he's doing!

Knew you'll like this. I just sent you your very own picture to keep.
Blessings.....
