Day 21 with Wealthy Affiliate 13 February 2015
I won't be sharing my exciting daily activities from this day forth. But for today, I will share what I've been up to for the past 14 days.
As per Kyle's advice, I took 10 days off from the training classes, and spent this time to touch base with all and any WA members in my network.
What a wealth of experiences I discovered as I greeted every one of them! They're from all walks of life with their myriad of vast experiences. The young minds with age old wisdoms...and the older experienced minds with young dreams! I was completely humbled as I learnt from every one of these Beautiful People.
Then I emerged from Cloud Nine to come back to the WA reality!
Having recovered from the shock of being in the WA community since January 23rd and survived without any brain damage, I hunkered down behind bunkers to get my bearings, and took stock of my surroundings, aand I found myself completely surrounded! Swamped!
What's that? Surrounded?
Well.... don't forget this Internet world were uncharted territory to me 21 days ago. I had no understanding of 'SEO', 'filezilla' (I'll always associate that word with godzilla), 'file sharing' and even 'bounce rate'. I still haven't the faintest clue what they all mean...but I have a little, just a very little...glimmer.
Then suddenly, as I opened the Training Manuals...it started raining training manuals and videos by the hundreds! Each link I opened, opened to more links to more training manuals, until I was completely surrounded!
Read this, and this, and this, and that, and that, that too! Watch this training video and that video, then do this, and this, and watch this, and that, that too! Also...don't do this, don't do that, or that or that!
How in the world am I going to digest all of this and that? And how in the world am I going to remember where to find all this to do that?
Then I had to ask what next?... aaand it rains more training manuals.

Hi Shirley, I feel you I got so overwhelmed for a bit that I went back and started and back to 4 of course 1 and I feel a lot better doing that.
Great Ana, we have to really go through Kyle and Carson's WA course properly. They worked so hard to make it easy for us newbies, so the least we can do is try to be teachable.

I think there's 1 very important thing missing here Shirley: Just look at all you've done up until now and how well you write. These are ALL essential skills an internet marketer needs to have and you've proven that you have what it takes.
There's going to be bumps in the roads, but it will all make sense, I promise you. Just don't try to digest too much or else you'll get sick lol. Just a bit at a time.

I loved reading this and I feel you. It will come together one day, I think! One thing you did was make me laugh.
I remember watching videos and saying what the heck are they talking about. I have to add this to my favorites and I will get back to it later. Sometimes I did get back to it and others are still sitting there.
I eventually learned some things, as for Filezilla, in my book it's till Godzilla. Lol
I'm with you...been there-done that! and yup, Filezilla...Godzilla, same difference. Thanks for reading this.

Agree with Florida. You and I joined about the same time, and I agree for sure! For me, I just hunker down and try to digest everything I can. Sometimes I watch twice, sometimes I end up with about 10 WA windows open on my computer!! Baby steps, keep learning, relearning, and practicing. One day it will all start to come together. Haha, really fun post you got there Shirley because it's true. There is such a huge information overload here at WA that it can really be compelling at times. Luckily we have the community to help us through our troubles and to break things down if we ever need any help. That's the best part about WA, and I'm really glad to see that you took a break, seems like you really needed it :D Great to see that you are connecting with the community :)
Yes..its the WA family that's keeping me from going completely bonkers. I love going to everyones profile page to get to know them.
I have one problem though, I haven't the foggiest what questions to ask about the training thingy. Sometimes my hair stands on end trying to figure out all the ???????

I use the notepad option on my computer. It helps saving the trees :)
