Day 130 with Wealthy Affiliate-01st June 2015 I was AWOL and MIA
Last Update: Jun 2, 2015
01st of June 2015 is day 130 with Wealthy Affiliate. Quite a milestone in my time here, and I'm NOT going to say "and nothing to show for it"!
On the contrary, I've a lot to show for it. I managed to set up 2 websites (though now in limbo for the time being on purpose), and I've extended my geek speak somewhat. Hey, a few months back I thought "filezilla" was related to godzilla! Then there's all the friends I've met and valued greatly. Reading blogs and interacting with my WA family is a great blessing that I would not give up for anything in the world.
Another great blessing is today my son was offered a good job position. Many of you knew he had been laid off six months now, so this is a great relief.
AWOL and MIA
My world came to a screeching halt for awhile when I couldn't make payment for the premium for the month of May, and the system had to shut me off. That's when I went AWOL and was MIA for about 25 days.
I had no choice, as it was at this time we had to pay transfer fees for ownership of my son's car. Budget was tight, so it was Premium or Transfer Fees. No brainer here which it was.
There was a feeling of trauma and sense of loss during this suspension when I couldn't access the WA forum. I couldn't for the life of me fathom why this should be so when all will be restored to normal once payment has been made. But it was hard receiving all the email notification from WA and not being able to access any of them. Totally incommunicado. I really felt akin to refugees.
This was when I learn't I CAN live without the Wealthy Affiliate community.
I learn't there was life outside of the Wealthy Affiliate community.
I learn't I do not want to be without the Wealthy Affiliate family.
I learn't how much I missed being in contact with my WA friends. I pray never to be in this situation again. Good news is I'm back and all is as it was. I don't think anyone noticed I was missing except by one.
God bless everyone of you my dears.
