Persistency, Consistency and Me! - Goal Setting & Accountability
Hi Guys,
Its been 9 months since I joined Wealthy Affiliate, but Idon't feel like I am making the progress I should be making. This has nothing to do with Wealthy Affiliate but all to do with me. In the past few months I resigned one job, was unemployed for a while and unable to afford paying for WA which was a huge blow for me. Now I am employed again and grateful and my heart is really set on creating my own way through WA. I love the platform and the community and when I get going with courses and working on my website, I can even forget to sleep. Writing flows pretty easily for me when I am in the mood. Lately though, I have just not been in the mood to write or work on my site at all.
I keep telling myself, you have to work on it persistently and keep reminding myself of the success that consistency brings. However, with everything going on around me its like my procrastination has created a wall around my creativity and only rarely does some of it escape.
I have been trying to set goals to keep myself on track, but with no accountability to anyone I realize I am not meeting those goals as I should be. I know that I am more than capable of making this work for me and I love learning about my niche of interest and sharing my experience with it.
I am writing this blog, as a way to keep myself accountable and on track. My thoughts are that once I put my goals out there into the atmosphere and into this community I will be more motivated to actually meet and exceed them. I know that many people here have succeeded using WA and sometimes that's just the motivation that I need to keep going. I am off from work tomorrow, so I hope to complete several of them then.
My Goals for the remainder of the week:
- Complete current article that I am writing
- Provide Side Feedback on at least 3 sites
- Comment on at 2 sites/ articles
- Write 1 new article for my site
- Complete 3 lessons

when we come to WA, we have to ensure we take action because each day is wasting away if we are not doing anything and before you know it one month is gone, your payment is gone as well.
I am sure you can do it. The first enemy of success is our attitude. the negative ones...
