Just a curiosity. I am just starting to write reviews.
I'd like to know how much I could advertise, but at the same time I want to write proper reviews.

I generally purchase everything. There are exceptions in the Internet marketing niche I have been given several products which are sold for over $1000 to review because the owners know me but generally to write an honest review you really need to do it with experience although many people do it by researching other reviews and copying them.IMHO they always look copiedAnd not very genuine

Thank you :)

You are welcome

No I have not bought most of the stuff. I do research, and those items are also my passion so I have some knowledge about them already.

I see. I guess it's up to me and what I am promoting.
Thank you!

Readers are usually very visuals, and like to know who they are reading about/from.
I thought I would get a better approach if I had not just more pictures all over the pag

Hi ScillaB! You've asked a question that's right up my alley. I'm building a site that has to do with a travel destination so it makes sense that in some cases a gallery of images might be a good fit.

The way I see it, any site that is visual in nature can have a gallery section. Images are indexed and searchable too so people can find your site through image search which is pretty cool!

You can also keep up a gallery on Pinterest which is pretty easy to do and gets some people some decent targeted traffic. It's not something you want to spend too much time on though as Kyle said in a recent post. But if it works for you, go for it!

Also, depending on the subject matter, your gallery section on your site can be small or large. It can be as little as a small selection of images that show off what you get up to in your niche. Or a larger gallery including videos for a travel site etc.

Your idea seems to make perfect sense to me. What could be better than showing your visitors images and video of you actually doing the activities you talk about. That's the best kind of promotion there is!

All the best. Hope I helped you.

Javier

Hey Javier!
Thank you! I really appreciate your feedback.
I didn't think about Pinterest, but it could be an idea. Where can I find Kyle's post?
Thank you so much again, have a great weekend!
Scilla

Youtube could be good too for your videos. You could set up a dedicated channel and embed the vids on your site.

I can't find the Kyle post right now. It was about his thoughts on social media and how people spend way too much time on it when compared to their own sites.

Maybe I got it mixed up with this one... but I'm pretty sure there was one about social media.

You have a great weekend too!

if your theme does not have one - does it have a footer widget? If so a workaround is you can create a menu in that footer widget by simply adding the appropriate links.

I did a traning video showing how you can create text links that you can then place in your theme's footer widget. Of course the other option is to find a theme that has a bottom menu option.

Hope this helps.

Hi Leo,
It didn't have either of them, so I changed theme.
I will definitely watch your video and work on text links!
Very helpful, thank you so much!

also try appearance > menu > manage location (at the top, next to the "edit menu" tab ) and see if you can select a footer menu

Not all themes come with many options, such as bottom menu. If you want to customize your menu you want to go to siterubix > wordpress dashbord > "appearance" and then "customize" or even better "theme options" (IF your themes comes with theme options). You might be able to add a bottom menu there but if you can't see if, perhaps you just want to change themes.
I can look at your theme if you want, see if it lets you add a bottom menu

I tried and I see that my theme did not have it, but I think I found the right theme now and getting better at customizing. Thank you very much!!

great! =) I'm glad you are getting this sorted out

Good question and thanks everybody for the answers.

I only use KT, it gives the same result as Jaaxy. You do not need anything else. Do not waste money.

KT = WA Keyword tool??

yes

Good to know, thank you!

Hi there,

There are several to use, here is the top ten:

1: SEMrush(Paid and free)
2: Google Keyword Planner
3: Keyword Tool.io
4: Buzzsumo
5: Longtail PRO
6: Google Trends
7: Ubersuggest and Google Analytics
8: KWFinder
9: Moz KW Difficulty Tool, Market Samurai & WordTracker
10: SERPwoo, GrepWords, SEOcockpit, BrightEdge Data Cude.

Some are paid, some are a trial basis. If you're looking for free, how good they are, I am not sure:

1. Ninja Search Combination Tool
2. MajesticSEO
3. SEO Book Keyword Tools
4. Bing Webmaster Toolbox
5. WordTracker
6. Keyword Discovery
7. WordPot
8. Ubersuggest
9. KeywordSpy
10. SEMRush
11. SpyFu
12. KGen

I just want to state I am NOT AN AFFILIATE of any of these products and I do not receive anything for stating them, this is just a list of what's out there to use, which is what was asked.

I hope this helps?

Hey there! Yes this is really helpful.

The WA Keyword tool is just as reliable as Jaaxy
