The challenge of choosing a niche
In my one week of being a premium member of WA, my first major challenge has been choosing a niche. I've realized that there are two approaches to choosing a niche. You either tell yourself it doesn't matter too much and that you can always change it later on when you get more information and more advanced in the training. Or you can spend a number of hours analyzing and going through all the options. I choose the later because the way I saw it, the way the training is designed, you're basically building your business as you progress and therefore I didn't want to waste my time on building a business based on a niche that I wasn't serious about because then I would have to go through the process all over again. I also felt that my motivation to go through the entire program would be higher if I was working within a niche I was fully committed to.
In the end I made a choice that I'm extremely happy with. My advice to persons who are having this challenge would be that you choose an area that really represents your personality. Some thing that occupies your thoughts every single day. Something that you're relatively passionate about or something that you just cant get enough of. There might be a big temptation to go with something related to your professional life, what you've studied at college etc. but if you don't love your job or profession then that may not be such a good idea.
I think if you consider these thoughts in addition to everything you've been taught about not being too broad etc. you're on your way to making an excellent choice and thereafter running a successful business. Cheers!
By the way this was my first blog and I'm really ecstatic to be part of the WA family!

Good Idea if you are passionate about your niche, the content will come easy, and with WA the technical stuff will come too..

Yep.... even though you may be very passionate, you may still be quite short on content and ideas....You would at the very least be motivated to gather the content that you may not have....
