Life and Other things
I haven't worked on my website all week, this sounds like such a small thing but I'm overwhelmed at the moment. I am currently watching my three God-children all week as this is their first week of summer vacation. My good friend is in town because her sister passed away last week. I haven't seen her in a few years because she lives in Los Angeles and I live in Chicago. I guess everything feels a little bittersweet.
On one end I get to see my babies and have fun with them and also see my friend. On the other end it's emotionally and physically draining. Not leaving to much leftover room to grow my business and work on my website.
As morbid as all this sounds, I'm thinking I may add a section to my website which is about Do It Yourself Party Planning. In addition to planning weddings, birthdays, etc. I think one thing people forget about planning is when it comes to memorials, wakes, and funerals. I have had the misfortune and honor of planning several of these types of services. I think it might be beneficial for some out there to get some support for these types of events because honestly it's the last thing that people want to plan, but it is a necessity.
So as the cliche goes, there is always a silver lining right?

Funny you should say that. I was listening to a news report on the funeral plans for Muhammad Ali. They mentioned that all of the events were written himself well prior to his death, and the family promised and has followed them to a tee. It was referred to as the "Book of Ali" with every event and every motion planned.
So maybe you could use that as a justified reference in your new section.

Sometimes life throws us lemons and we can choose to look at them as being sour and useless, or we can make lemonade. Congrats on making lemonade! :)
Thanks Jude, haven't thought about lemonade in a while. Guess I just want to be productive through all the lemons.
