What the hell!!!
I am active on Facebook, but i dont really make posts, I just post, mainly about spiritual stuff or animals that are in need.....is that my passion, animals?? I dont think so.
But, what IS my passion, Im struggling with that, but anyway, how did I get here, well lets see, I was on Facebook (again) and read a post and commented on it, and then another woman commented on MY comment, she is on here, she is motivated, she is doing whatever needs to be done to be a great provider to her kids, SHE inspired me and so I came and took a peek!!
Next thing I knew I was signing up, but I cant make sense of ANYTHING!!!!! HAHAHAHAHA, im soo funny, BUT, I have decided to devote my two free days to studying on here to see if I can achieve my dream, financial freedom and abundance, joy and all the rest of it, for me and my son, well, actually, for my son, cause i sooo dont want him to be ashamed of me as he grows, thinking, wow, what DID my mum actually do???
So here I am, Im going to be fumbling for a while and I will probably be asking alot of blunt, sometimes naive, but definitely curious questions......
For instance, without knowing the first thing about this site, do you need to have a product to sell?? Do you need to have ideas to start, I mean, aaargh!!
Ok well here we go, im gonna enjoy the journey and I hope you can enjoy it with me, there will be lots of laughs (hopefully), maybe a few tears (of frustration, but not toooo many) and lots and lots of answers!!!!!!

Hi Shauna! Welcome to Wealthy Affiliate! I know this all seems kind of overwhelming at first but it gets a lot easier to understand things when you've been here for a while. WA offers vast amount of knowledge in tons of different fields of internet marketing and all of these give you many different ways to make an income.
The most common around here is through having your own website, WA offers two free websites to starter members, built around something you are passionate about or something you enjoy. Basically something you wouldn't mind writing about or learning a lot about because you'll be promoting it.
Different companies such as Click Bank, Amazon and many others offer what's called an affiliate program where they pay you a commission based on something you sold from your site.
Here's an example: I have a video game review website; I write a review about a certain game and if the game is good and I recommend it, I would have a link to where you could buy that game straight from Amazon. And if they do I get a commission on that sale.
This is definitely something you learn by doing so don't be afraid to try something even if you don't know EXACTLY how to do everything. I'm not suggesting you jump into everything without having any idea what to do but you get my point.
