Flat Out Like A Lizard Drinking!
That kinda describes me at the moment. I'm a Wealthy Affiliate veteran of 17 days. But what a fortnight!
Finished the first 10 lessons, got my blog up and running like a well-oiled machine and enjoying every minute of it!
I first came across WA in 2007 - in fact I may have even joined up, I don't remember. All I know is that back then, I wasn't ready to listen! I got this award back then called "see how many shiny objects you can chase" - and I actually passed with distinction..... not something I'm proud of, but I don't think I ran that race alone.
I've dibbled and dabbled, made a bit of money here and there, but quickly lost interest and moved on to the next "shiny object".
Finding my way back to Wealthy Affiliate came about as a bit of a comedy of errors really. You see, a couple of months ago I was perched on top of an Egyptian camel, and right then and there I made a bargain with God: I prayed (out loud, I might add):
"Please God, if you make sure I get down off this beast in one piece, I swear I will definitely lose weight in 2020, and I will finally don my serious hat with my online shinanegans".
Well, here I am!
And, true to word, 2 weeks ago I had gastric banding hypnotherapy (and it's working very well, thank you), and I signed back up with Wealthy Affiliate.
So, my goals are probably pretty much like yours:
1) Keep up with the hypnotherapy recordings until I'm a shadow of my former self (physically)
2) Follow through with Wealthy Affiliate to the very letter and remember that I DO NOT KNOW BETTER THAN THEM (lol)
3) Get back on that camel!
Kidding, I know your goals will be totally different from mine, but seriously, I wish you all the very best with your own personal goals and who knows? Maybe when I reach the top of the Wealthy Affiliate ladder, I actually do by camel!

We have something in common, I also dibble and dabble on shiny object syndrome. It can be addictive chasing after the gold at the end of the rainbow. Ha! Ha! Ha!

Thanks Stanley - I believe that a very big percentage of us have suffered at some time from ""Shiny Object Syndrome" but I guess that it's us - the ones who see the light - that will admit it! Good luck to you too

You don't realize how big a camel is until you get on top of one. lol
