The Great News for Today!

I've been with Wealthy Affiliate fifteen days and just finished my second Certification Level. That's my great news for today!

After owning my own domain name and posting a personal website a year ago outside WA, I am finally beginning to undertand just what it takes to develop a site, what SEO actually means, how to write a blog post (and thank you to all who so kindly read my bumbling first steps), and how to navigate around 3 different websites I currently manage. I am overwhelmed by the wealth of information contained in the training and by the assistance I've received from other members.

To the newbies just getting started ... ths is almost addictive! The confidence that i've begun to experience makes getting up early each day to accomplish WA lessons and tasks is so energizing! It sets the tone of my entire day because each day ends with a sense of accomplishment.

Probably the most important single piece of "advice" I've gleaned so far has been how to manage my time for optimum productivity. I actually place my kitchen timer next to my computer. I decide how much time I will devote to certain tasks, set the timer, and off I go. (Confession - sometimes it's hard to stop!) Since implementing this strategy, I've begun using it in my online business and by the end of the day I'm overwhelmed by just how much I've accomplished by breaking tasks down into time-managed portions that have a beginning and an end. They do accumulate!

Retirement has now become focused, "work" is no longer a hardship to endure, and there are daily rewards both in Wealthy Affiliate and my personal/business life. So, that's the great news for today - can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!
