YES! Goal for 2014 - Achieved
One year ago I set a financial goal for my online activities. It was €100/month which is about $130/month. This is far from my midterm goal of earning a full time income online. But as I earned about $0.30/month at that time, $130/month still seemed like a different world and I really had no clue how to get there.
Until May 2014 nothing changed, commissions still came in homeopathic doses.
Then I started trying out different things, that I hadn't done before.
1. I posted about a sale in my niche.
2. I added banner ads for affiliate products in my sidebar.
I know, these things are far from revolutionary lol...but I just hadn't done them before.
AND they brought me a big break through. I had my first $100+ commission and consistent earnings of $100+/month since. Since October it's been $160/month - GOAL ACHIEVED.
For 2015 I set myself a much bigger challenge. I'm going to create my first own product.And I want to be able to quit my day job by the end of the year.
Promoting affiliate products and my own product(s), plus refining my online marketing skills will hopefully lead to my new goal. I'm super excited, super motivated und really, really scared! What if things go wrong? Or what will happen when I succeed? Life will change...
Whew!
Now you better get out of my way, Scary Me! Because I'm going to head forward...no matter what!

Congrats and thanks for sharing. Can I see your website or is it secret? :) I just started here yesterday and I have a hard time motivating myself for different reasons. Looking around for successes to try to inspire myself. ;)

Like all of us here, I started this site from scratch following the Online Entrepreneur Certification Training. You can find it under the green "Get Started Here" tab on the upper left side.
The first few weeks or months -depending on how much time you can spend on building your site- are the hardest, because first nothing seems to happen. Except that you can watch your site grow which is great.
Just jump in and follow the training. Whenever you get stuck, need help or motivation, post a blog like this one. This community is very responsive and helpful.
Don't think too much about it. Squeeze as much out of your first free week as you can:-)

Looking at it, oh, are you into music production? do you have a soundcloud or any music out somewhere? I dont understand the technical side much but will send it to a friend who is into it. :)
But actually i have played in audacity and cubase and i want to learn one day not to far away, when i have a passive income. ;)

Yes I am. Though I haven't produced a lot last year. Day job, family, building my business...not much time left for music production.

If you keep moving forward and apply what you learn, you'll get there. Online marketing isn't magic (though sometimes it feels like it is). You just have to learn the rules and follow them.
