It's time for feedback.

So yeah. It's time for me to receive feedback on my sites. Previously I'd avoided the entire site feedback thing because of two reasons. The first being that feedback received wasn't helpful, mean, and downright hurtful and being told that the feedback I gave stunk- when I thought I was following the 'giving feedback guidelines'.

So. Today is the day where I say - screw it - and open myself up to whatever folks have to say cuz, something isn't working. My sites haven't been indexed in for probably a long time and I keep writing because I'm loving what I'm doing.

I'm ready and have requested a few 'request feedbacks' on the two sites of mine.

If anyone goes into the site feedback section and sees my request, I'd appreciate your honest, helpful -not mean or hurtful- feedback.

Thanks

Shannon

The feedback I like is when it is critical, Shannon, otherwise if it is just boilerplate positive responses, I won't learn anything. Negative feedback does not mean that I still don't like what I might have done though, but rather, it will sometimes help me see something in a different way than I might have otherwise.

Hi Jeffery, I understand that negative feedback is critical, yet there's a major difference between 'critical and necessary feedback' and downright mean.

I also understand that it's essential not to take anyone's feedback personally, yet as you must also understand, being human has its days.

When I wrote this post, I was on a rant which is one of the reasons why I love WA - we can rant and get all up in our emotions with no one here to judge us or complain.
Everyone here gets that it's a process.
Thanks for your insight. It is taken and appreciated.
