Is it a good idea to display your character/personality traits on your website?
Oh, I would definitely say yes! Especially if your character/personality traits are like mine! I'm fun and funny which means I love to make people laugh, and depending on what your niche is, I don't think it is a good idea to be too serious all the time, that can be borrrrrinnngggg!
"So what do you suggest Shanice"? I'm sure you have asked me this question in your mind or out loud. (yes i'm laughing, I hope you are too!) But I'll offer you all a few suggestions about your content that can make your website successful.
1. Make your content a little funny. Now I recommend you stray away from this suggestion if your niche is about cancer, death, etc. If you have to think if your niche is too serious to joke about or not, 9 times out of 10 it is, so don't do it. My niche is about acne, so I feel that I can throw a few funny lines within my content and not offend anyone. I joke about my acne from time to time to keep myself from getting depressed or stressed out about the disease (plus I know I'm a cutie, which is something I always think about when I look at myself in the mirror LOL)
2. Make sure you share YOUR thoughts in your content. Too much information about what others think or where you got your information from can destroy your credibility and visitors will think you don't genuinely care about what you are writing about.
3. Make an about me page and tell everyone a little about yourself and how you and your niche(things you are writing about) relates to one another.
4. Be YOU!
Tell me what you think below guys!

I've made a great living doing this and have thousands of loyal people that trust me because of keeping it real. So I agree with you. No one wants to read dry content.
They'll be attracted to you and your personality. That's your only unique selling proposition so use it to your advantage!
Good job Shanice!

I would say yes definitely especially as you have a great sense of humor. Don't ever hide that. Ever!
