Just some kind words of encouragement to help those looking to make extra money from websites, don't limit yourself to just affiliate stuff. Allow yourself the freedom to design websites or re-design websites for businesses.

Early this year I had someone reach out to me on my YouTube channel asking for me to make content for them to help with sales, which would bring in affiliate commissions to me when a sale was made from the content I produced on YouTube.

After a few months of making content for them, it only produced an extra $100 to $300 a month income from these commissions so I decided to look at their website to see what could be happening & it was in great need of re-design.

I reached out to them offering free advice & it was well-received, the problem was that they did not have time to make the changes needed so they tried to hire a local website designer to do this work but they wanted $1800 for the re-design.

being that I was the person who gave the free advice, they emailed me & explained the situation wanting to know if I would be interested in doing the re-design of the website for them.

I said sure, so we both decided for me to build a home page for them & if they liked the design then they would go with me to do the re-design work.

After making the homepage for them, they loved the new look & the way i delivered their content so they decided to pay me to do the re-design which took me about 5 days & during my Christmas break I ended up making $1600 for doing this work plus I built a better relationship with my affiliate.

I share this story to empower others to be open to opportunities as they arise.

Whether building sites, re-designs, affiliate work, or just for my own business.

There are a ton of ways to make extra income if you are willing.

Be helpful, be willing, be ready & it will happen.
