Insight would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!
Does anyone have a preference in screen capture software? has the same question and you might find some answers there
Hey Shane, I've heard Monosnap is fairly decent for free, though I gave it a try and wasn't all that impressed with it as far as writing or circling on things it would vanish on me.
My son, on the other hand, found one called Open broadcaster software for his gaming he seems to like it, I personally haven't used any besides jing but unfortunately you can't record very long with it,
so my next option was going to be (screen cast-0-matic) as it's really affordable and does the job and I know a few members use it too, you can also check out Camstudio is another free trial. Hope that helps you. :)
Oh and I forgot to mention screencast-o-matic offers free for up to 15min per upload, or you can choose their package which is extremely affordable for $15 per year.

Best programs to use on windows for free screen recordings?
Insight would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!
Hey Shane,
There are some greats ones out there. I like Skitch and Screenshot Captor for screenshots. And I use ActivePresenter Free Edition for recording. Icecream Screen Recorder and CamStudio are good screencast software as well.
