Using impulses to sell face to face
I have been in direct selling for a number of years now and one thing that helped me to get people over the line to buy off me has been impulses. It's an easy skill to learn with repitition and if you can master it, you will be an A class sale's person.
Tonight i was talking to someone on WA via PM and they said they feel like they have used up there call list of personal friends and contacts. I think mastering impulses could be a way to overcome there objections and creating fresh contacts. I messaged them back with an example.
"I'm sorry your contacts are shying away from you and that can be a consequence of this type of business. I have done MLM before and when dealing with friends i found the best way to approach them is to use "inpulses" http://www.easypeezyinternational.com/doortodoor/impulse.html
Particularly "Indifference" which you basically act like you don't care much whether they buy from you or not, you are just giving them an oportunity, "take it or leave it". If you can master it, it takes away the desperation you might be portraying. two impuses that arnt on that list are"
"save" save time, save money etc.
"Greed" make money
I will give you a quick sentence that uses all the impulses, it really affects people

Thanks for seeing me today Mr Joe Blog, EVERYONE (jones) has been asking me about WA lately and i am rushed off my feet (urgency) so i don't have much time (urgency) to show you as i have to go and show MR IVEY (jones) SHORTLY (urgency)(fear of lose) as he wants to start SAVING MONEY on website hosting (save). I can show you NOW (urgency) or NOT (fear of lose), IT'S UP TO YOU (indifference) as i should go see MR IVEY (jones)(urgency) because he wants to see how he can make MONEY(greed) as well like EVERYONE else (jones). I have 2 MINUTES (urgency and fear of lose), if you don't that's okay (indifference). Should i continue?
That's a very quick example of how you can get someone involved that you don't know, a great way to break the ice and get them interested without giving them information. it's also a great way to setup to get there details so you can contact them later. The indifference part helps to show them you dont care if they are engaged or not and helps with personal friends that might feel like you are just trying to sell them something.
