The Importance of Being Organized
I have just completed my level one certification and I feel good about it. At the same time, I know that I could have accomplished this sooner.
I am so easily distracted when I am overwhelmed with school work and final assignments, since I am approaching the end of the summer semester. These days, I tend to think "when I get around to it (whatever 'it' is) I'll do it, but I know this is not the best way to go about life.
One of the things I am learning to do is be more proactive with my time. I have goals, but it is not enough for me to just write it down. I have to plan my day, knowing I have other things to do besides creating an online business.
It's not that I cannot be organized. It's making the effort to do so each and every day. I know that I can't be super organized all the time. There is always the unexpected, but I want to know that I'm at least organized and on top of things most of the time.
So what about you. Do you struggle with being organized?

Don't beat yourself up over how long it takes to do anything. There's no rush, no deadline. You've got a lot of other things on your plate, and you must do your best at those as well. It's called "Life." The best part is that your websites will always be here, easy for you to work on when you have the time.
I struggle with being organized. Sometimes I am down right lazy to do things I know I need to get done.
Being organized and get things done are very hard.
We always say I will do it later, now it's not the right moment and then at the end of the day we did nothing.
I believe we can get a lot of things done by having a checklist with only a few tasks for each day.
A lot of professionals suggest about 3 task per day, and you will start getting results. I haven't adopted this method yet, but I'm changing my habit a little every day and it looks like this method work.
I'm ready to apply it at a larger scale now, just have to keep telling myself every morning when I wake up I have to write down the 3 tasks I have to accomplish today.
But don't push yourself too much, don't write down something you won't be able to accomplish, start small.
I see you're still a student, it's amazing what you're doing and you're definitely at the right place. However, don't forget school is also important and when summer comes is good to take a break.
I wish I had your mindset when I was a student, but I guess every person has their own path. You're on the right one, don't give up and be patient, you will get there I'm sure.

I do plan my time each day but I must say I don’t write it down. Each morning, about now once I’ve finished my WA catch up reading, I think about the day ahead and block out chunks of time to the various things I want and need to do.
Today is Saturday and I will be riding my horse with some other Club members this morning but even that is broken down to 7am have shower, 7.30am set up arena, 8am feed horses, 9am go to Club etc... WA work will come later this avo once my other half goes off to work.
I find I do stick to my plan generally, and feel disappointed in myself if I have to drop something out that I had made a time for in the morning.
Just what works for me :)
That's all we can do. We have to find what works at the time, do it and if it doesn't work for some reason, try something else until we get it right!

Its a juggling act at the moment but I know i will figure it out.
You are doing great Shallene. You completed level 1, first website and a premium member.
Those are all small steps ( successes).
