Be Back in January

Roses are Red, Violet’s are Blue

You all be sweet and Kind and I shall be too.

This won’t be my normal post talking about food and comparing it to marketing. However, I got some personal problems going on. A very close elder of mines has passed away. Ms. Virginia, she helped raised me and looked after me and my siblings when our mom was sick 30 years ago.

She passed away last week from health complications. Her wake is today and funeral is to tomorrow. It’s a bit rough because I just buried another uncle back in February of this year on Valentine’s Day, and almost lost his wife (my aunt) a few weeks ago.

So, I just need to take a break Just to recuperate, heal and grieve. I have practically lost one family each year for the past 8 years and I haven’t grieved much because I’ve been here, school or work trying to keep my mind focus laughing and Learning with you all.

No one said “growing pains” would be easy, but you do learn something from each of them as with all things. I’ll remember Ms. Virginia’s smile 😊 and the lovely cakes she made. Her warm laughter, her motherly love, that only a mother could give.

I’ll be back everyone, just need some time to grieve.
