I have notice something:
My observation with a dash of epiphany
(Today's top menu image is two heart-shaped bowls of mixed fruit.)
When I decided to take a step back and focus on my site as well as school assignments, I noticed something - a new tactic. There are several members here who showed me this way. I sit back and observe people's posts and read a few that are interesting to me.
What these members just taught me, without actually saying anything at all, was how to write "1" engaging post that draws attention. Yes, I am in school learning this exact thing, but it hits different when you see things in the "wild," sort a speak.
Suddenly, the need to remain active does not press you as much so long as the content you write about offers "Quality + Humanity" over quantity. It looks more genuine. I have no idea why these epiphanies happen. They come and they go. But when I do have them, I delve deep into my thoughts and brainstorm for a while before sharing, like today.
(Bowl of salad with a blend of different vegetables)
Quality + Humanity = Engagement
I love vegetables. As a child growing up I hated these colorful minions! I like candy better. Now as a grown up (waaaah!!! π©) I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, fresh vegetables! I love these little colorful minions of health so much that I have changed my entire diet and thought process. When facing a choice between food that is barely healthy and a nice bowl of salad like the one above, my thought process goes veggies and fruit first.
What I do mentally is give myself a choice. I keep this thought in my head that if I want to live a healthier life to not make excuses as to why I cannot eat healthy when the food is presented in front of me. Rather that is at the store or at a local restaurant.
Do as the ants do, choose better quality food. If you notice with ants they will never eat fake food. I actually tried this one day when I was younger. I wanted to know if the ants would eat Cheeto Puff chips. They do not.
When I saw this back in my younger years that changed my whole view of life and food "quality." Getting to this stage in my life did not just happen over night. It took time.
I never used to like tomatoes. Yeck! I hated the tasted of them. But one day I started craving tomatoes and black olives with Italian dressing. I so I tried it and my general response was Yuck! Gross.
Why is that? Because I have been use to eating process food all of my life and to eat healthy food was a instant no from me lol. However, I kept craving these two veggies (well one is a fruit :). So, I ignored the unpalatable change in taste at the time and then, like "magic" I cannot stop eating these two colorful minions of health.
(plate of tomatoes with baby spinach)
It is the same with "quality" content or anything new to you for that matter. It will never be easy on the first go around and maybe not even understandable. When you eat sugar especially the kind we have in our candy in the USA, it gives you an immediate sugar rush. Doctors here says it can spike your blood sugar and cause other health problems.
In order for me to avoid that I just change my diet (for business: Choose a different strategy). Instead of super sugary drinks and candy I choose sugar-less tea and dark chocolate (Some that are extremely bitter I have a unique taste for. ) My point is this you cannot combat unhealthy life style with unhealthy food. It just will not work.
(A large bowl of lettuce and baby spinach surrounded by smaller bowls of fruit and veggies)
This is the same with business, you need different strategies, business plans and tools to achieve your business goals. Some time it may take a few tries with a plate of tomatoes to realize its value to you (save that you are not allergic).
You may have to season your tomatoes to your liking to help you adapt to eating it. Business wise you will have to do a few trial runs and test to see if your new plan or tool is working properly and if not adjust it as it needs to be.
Long Story Short
Enjoy your fruits.
Enjoy your veggies.

I like the equation Quality + Humanity = Engagement Shakida. As I've heard, "What comes from the heart goes to the heart".
I've always loved food, and I've learned over the years to choose natural food over processed.
I love both olives and tomatoes; both are fruits, but I wouldn't want either of them in a fruit salad!

π
I agree, lets keep the tomatoes and olives in the salad bowl.
That method of equation was also taught to me by a very smart man.
He didn't use this equation, but he showed me how to understand life through equations.
There is also a book that I have to read for class that shows a similar method.
Kellogg
Chapter 19: Sales as Story Telling. Sub section: The Arcs of Story Telling.
This chapter subsection talks about something called the 5c's. Its a good read.
Take note WAβers.
What you have just read is a heartfelt share from a member writing from her own thoughts.
No AI formatting of her emotions, no adding of formatted bullet points amd headings with emojis and metaphors and long dashes and βitβs not just a matter of abc (itβs xyz too)β.
This post elevates itself so much higher than any AI WA post you push out no matter how many prompts you write for it.
This post is human, itβs real, (it even uses DELVE), and itβs the kind of sincere post that your brain wants to absorb even faster than your eyes can process it. ππΌπ―
Great job Shakida!
Why thank you Eric. It was just my random epiphanies that I decided to share. I notice when you write blogs from personal experiences and from the heart it is easy to connect it to the business side of you.
I also decided that there was enough βhow toβsβ and training on this or that posts and need some more life moments to share. TOMATOES π
FOR THE WIN π!
One thing I've learned over the last few weeks is that the "Hide Content Like This" button works like a charm and brings all the real, genuine shares up to the front.
True, and I have been utilizing that button ever since you mentioned it a few weeks ago. ππ½
π temptation, I shall resist even if these little sugar minions are hiding as Healthy Veggies and Fruit.

Hi Shakida. It's great that you now eat healthy food like the ants. Looks like ants can teach us a lot. I remember listening to Jim Rohn a long time ago. He was talking about the ant philosophy - as soon as the sun comes out they go to work - they don't waste time but make the most of the good weather. We shouldn't waste good opportunities either...
And yes, I totally agree - you get out of your body - or your business - what you put in. Same as programming a computer with the well-known saying 'garbage in, garbage out'. So let's feed ourselves and out business with healty food.
Thanks for the reminder, Shakida.
