Great Tuesday Morning
Its Tuesday!!! (By the time you read this it will be 6 am. Still adding stuff!)
Gooood morning, Wa'ers! It is 5 a.m. on my side of the globe, and it is time for coffee! I hope everyone has a successful and fabulous Tuesday morning! We are putting in work, and it is the holiday season in the U.S. Question for you before we turn the page into 2025:
- What did you learn this year?
- What would you have liked to of learned?
- What is stopping you from learning it?
Putting my hand up first!
- I have learned this year that you are never too old to achieve your dreams and that sheer determination in doing so will shape your thinking. It shaped and changed mines. If you want to change you will do it. I got so tired of working to help others accomplish their dreams and build their companies that I lost and forgot about me. It can become depressing when you work so hard and have nothing to show for it.
April 1, 2025 I will have something to show for all of my hard work. A "Bachelors in Business and Science" and a Associates in Digital Marketing. It has been a ride. I only went back for my degree because I wanted to prove something to myself plus I like the change in me mentally. It was a hard change.
When your brain is use to doing something the same way for so long it gets hard to break out of it. Unless you believe and are willing to. When you take the steps to change its hard at first but if you keep going you will have broken out of your old ways.
- I would have liked to have learned all of this in my early 20s. But I wasn't sure of myself then. A little bit more knowledge about business and its inner workings and how to apply it to my career. I believe that would have been very beneficial to me years prior. There is just so much I would have loved to learn I cannot named them all 🤣! I can't believe we are leaving 2024 and stepping into '25. This year I shall dub thee "The Quarter Year." The Year of Change.
- What is stopping me from learning it? In the words of a very good friend of mines,
Minister Reginald Watson - Nothing can stop me, I am all the way up!
His wise words ring in my ears every time I face trouble.
"Speak what you want until you have what you say."
The power of impactful words and positive thinking is very real to me. Which may answer a new curiosity of mines. Psychology.
Have a Prosperous, Healthy and Blessed year.

Hey, Shakida. a great post, thank you.
I am not contradicting you, just offering an alternative.
I ask:
What worked?
What didn't?
What did I learn?
What will I do differently?
As I said, I don't meant this as a contradiction, It's just an alternative.
;-)

It's not a contradiction you're just adding a little more seasoning to this post. I Like it!!! It is what my degree program called "Reflection"
Happy Tuesday!
Hello Ms Kida!
Yessss….my GenX brain was programmed to “always have a job.” And that’s what I have done my whole life, not a bad thing mind you, but it did limit me unfortunately. Though, way deep inside I’ve always wanted to become an entrepreneur….so here I am!
Totally agree with what you wrote here⬇️
“When your brain is use to doing something the same way for so long it gets hard to break out of it. Unless you believe and are willing to. When you take the steps to change its hard at first but if you keep going you will have broken out of your old ways.”
1. I have learned this year that I CAN change directions and try something new. I’m proud of my 27 year career in telecommunications which has sustained me all these years but it’s nice to know I still have an adventurous spirit to explore other options.
2. Like you, I would’ve liked to have learned this at a much younger age but thinking back, I wouldn’t have been so open to this with the mindset I had back then. I believe this IS perfect timing for me.
3. What’s stopping me from learning? ME of course! lol I’m the only thing standing in the way but I’m getting my mind straight and forging ahead.

Awesome, Steve! We are our own biggest doubters and advocates! Speak your change into the air, then act on it. Change will not come from just speaking alone; you have to put some action behind your words and be willing to stick with it.
Happy Tuesday!
I agree that words alone do not move the needle. That’s why I’m here. It’s only been 10 months since I launched my first site but I’ve come a long way. From never even heard of digital marketing to having 2 websites up and running. A learn a little each day and I know it’ll be worth it when I reflect on my journey.

Hi Shakida! I like quotes, too!
"Transforming a negative mindset is the foundation of success, not just in affiliate marketing but in life itself. By embracing positive strategies, you cultivate an optimistic outlook, unlocking doors to opportunities you never knew existed."
