Chillin at the Coffee Shop!
Working while Relaxing
I am at one of many favorite coffee shops and I wanted to say that I’m not much of a traveling type person, but I do love getting out of the house. Sometimes just a change in scenery will be all that you need for inspiration (hopefully you will not get distracted by it) that can spar an idea. As I said earlier in live chat I have been up since 330am. Something about that time frame my circadian rhythm vibes with. It’s the time where I have my most spontaneous thoughts and can think freely from distractions and the busy bodies around me.
It’s peaceful at this time in the morning. No loud noises blaring, no car horns honking or people conversing. Just peaceful. I recently found out that at this time in the morning if I focus on my work and work throughout this time into the later part of the day, I can get a lot done. I just have to tune into the time frame my circadian rhythm works well with. When I get up at this time of the morning, I feel well rested. I can think more clearly and my focus has sharpened.
(Tip: figure out which time frame work well with your body and mind)
So, with this reality, I now know that I am not just a morning person but a “VERY EARLY” in the morning type person. Sometimes I am up 2 hours before 3 am. However, I said all of this because I found my rhythm (In nature). If I want to keep this rhythm, I have to go where I feel the most peace at or where I am the most happiest. Which ironically is out among nature and different people. For me this setting looks like a coffee shop. Where everyone is here to do one of three things: 1.) Have their choice beverage or food while reading a newspaper ( yes, we still have those here!), 2.) converse and hangout with friends or relatives; Or 3.) “ to work.” Now this work can be school work or online like we do here.
In tune with nature
Point being coffee shops are a great place (for me) to be at when you want to get away from the house and focus. I will not knock the peaceful setting of the home either. Cause let’s be honest, there’s no place like home! In this case, for those of us who like to move around and experience new places, but cannot afford to travel abroad, little small cafes or coffee shops (local city parks work well too) work as a perfect substitute. I cannot speak for you the reader but I do like my local coffee shop.
Getting out of the house early in the morning allows you to smell the fresh air and gets your mind, body and soul further in tune with nature. For me this just works. There’s an old saying we have in the restaurant industry that goes like this, “You Eat With Your Eyes First.” Now what does this mean? Before food can touch your tongue, the visual presentation of that food will either be inviting to you OR will put you off (gross one out).

How can this be applied to Affiliate Marketing?
Ever heard of the saying that a “picture speaks a thousand words?” It is a similar saying. Sensual created content is content made to trigger a response from your 5 senses. Take the forest picture above; when I view it, I get the smell of pinewood, clean air, itchiness (green brushes beneath the trees), on a sunny cool or hot day.
These trees are local to my state. This is what strikes my senses when I see pictures like this. So when making content for your site you can use pictures like these or food (especially food) to sell your point home. There are whole research papers on this going back 10 - 12 years. I read a few of them yesterday, and was very intrigued by it.
Companies and even regular joes has cracked the psychology code on this and that’s why they are so successful at figuring out what each of us what would like. So, when you selling that seasoning and telling your audience what food it goes best with add a burger or some kind of image of food to the content.
Back to the coffee

This post actually took two days to create. I lost my creative juices at 2pm yesterday lol. Had to let the post fall on day two. It is almost 5 am now. The image above represents me to the fullest. Coffee and a notebook and pen. Working while relaxing is so peaceful I just love it! But I have to work within my time zone (early hours of the morning) because by the time the evening comes my brain solar power goes to mush 😂😂😂. I am sure there is research on this as well. However the point of this post is you can have peace and clarity right where you are. Just find your zone (time frame). You can literally enjoy yourself at a local cafe, just get up and search for it.

Hi Shakida
I'm under doctor's orders to (literally) put my feet up, for a couple of hours everyday, at sometime during the day. For me that works best for a couple of hours, any time between 2pm and 6pm, when I raise my feet high and use mindfulness to relax.
Mindfulness completely changes my state and I use it to prepare for whatever is coming next, usually writing of some kind. I also use mindfulness at other times, for anything from 1 to perhaps 10 minutes, when I want to change my focus quickly from whatever I've been doing, to whatever requires my attention next.
I don't get out much nowadays (I simply can't walk very far) but I do have a relaxing, green and hilly view, from my room.
;-)
Richard
