Do You Know Where Your Money is Going - Has Gone?

Has there been a time in your life when you were confused about the lack of money? Even after working 40+ hours a week? 52 weeks a year? I know the feeling. My husband & I have spent most of our married life experiencing that same problem. How is that possible?

Even though we believed that we are good stewards of money, it didn't seem to be true. What didn't we know, what didn't we do, and what actions didn't we take to change the answer - where did our money go?

This is the truth - we didn't want to figure it out - we wanted what we wanted - when we wanted it! Sound familiar? We truly didn't believe that it was possible to manage our money, thus managing our lives. Nor did we explore the possibilities until it was almost to late.

I could tell you story after story of the "mistakes" we made for umpteen years. We thought nothing about buying a new car every other year, or buying a new house we couldn't afford, or anything else we "wanted" not "needed".

We have always (generally) been entrepreneurs that subsidized our lives for many years - but more money was going out than coming in.

We did not reach out and get any money advise nor, probably, we wouldn't have heard the solutions. Because, remember, we wanted what we wanted.

There were a series of events that pushed us into changing our financial life. Events like the 2008 financial crisis, losing jobs & businesses, moving, renting, etc.

When we sat down and got real with our situation we were able to turn our money issues around. We are now VERY aware of where our money goes and why. We have been able to enjoy our lives more and each other without all the money challenges.

I am writing this post to share why I made the decision to join and engage with WA. It was because I am ready to create great sites and make great money. Money that I know what to do with - that's the key. If you don't tell your money where to go it goes away! Believe me!
