Blabbering About My Progress :)

I'm just going to talk within this post EXACTLY like how I would talk to anyone very close to my heart.. I started Wealthy Affiliate about two weeks ago. I just finished Course 2 and I'm glad that Kyle has asked us to write about our progress because I can blabber for days!

I'm actually disappointed because at this point, I was supposed to be finishing up Lesson 4. I was teaching myself discipline and keep to a schedule but something happened and my family in Idaho (where I live) wanted to go to California for a mini vacation, I live in Meridian, Idaho with family and their doctors so they can pick up when they feel like and vacation! Therefore I am now with my sister in Kearns, Utah and couldn't access my Wealthy Affiliate for a few days because I was logged into my WA account in Meridian. I was so annoyed because I love waking up everyday to see what everyone's doing on WA and how their progress is as well as mine.

I'm not gonna lie, I am definitely learning Affiliate Marketing on my own but I do have a few guru's in Idaho that make a great income and love to help me when I'm stuck but I felt that I needed to learn for my own how to make money online being an affiliate marketer to feel as if I earned my way! I'm not going to speak for anyone lol but I'm pretty sure we're not learning affiliate marketing for free! LoL, we're here to make money and I love that this community isn't offensive at all because I used to be so incredibly shy! But after working for three years in a Bar environment, I speak my mind. ALL THE TIME!

It's scary because I'm a very open person. I'm not ashamed to look like a fool, I'm just really blunt and open. I try to be considerate to other people's feelings but when it comes to my character. I feel like I shouldn't be anyone but myself. And here in WA, I'm glad to read people's comments and be able to respond and be myself with like ZERO negative feedback lol unless I haven't read it yet haha.

Anyway, I'm muttering. I have gone through the past two lessons with excitement, new resources, new followers (I adore you guys), ok I haven't followed anyone yet because I am sooo glued into the lessons. But I promise I'll be more active with everyone and help anywhere that I can. I also want to share a story for you guys that I find soooo encouraging.

After I quit working at a bar out here in Boise, I was still making money from customers that loved spending money on me (I won't get into that lol I'm open with my life haha but don't want to scare you guys ;)) So I didn't have to get a day job and have been blessed. But I've always been a woman that knew depending on someone else for your income, will get you stuck! And I love progression!

So get this, I decided to go back to school for Marketing where they have Web Site Design and such. But I came across Full Sail University and decided, "Hey they have an affiliate marketing program within the Internet Marketing degree." Ha and yes you guys I applied because I thought I could get a lot out of that 1 whole month that they taught affiliate marketing (haha NOT now that I'm looking back & comparing that school to WA & how much I've learned in 2 weeks here)!

I'll be so honest! I didn't get accepted and I'll be even more honest because I don't & never will care what anyone thinks about me, but I had a background check done and I was charged for Disturbing The Peace (I was young and my ex had a party at my house that turned into a huge cage fight and brawl, but the house was in my name at the time). Full Sail didn't accept me because of 1 little thing and they wanted to literally dig into your life and call references & I thought it was a bunch of s-word! Here comes the A-HA moment!

"Let's check out Wealthy Affiliate, the last time I tried their website, I was lazy & didn't read any of the content (mind you this was in 2008)," and here I am today, taking ACTION! And thank goodness Full Sail was a FAIL! Because me, PAYING myself (I don't qualify for financial aid) the amount of $55,000.00 for two years for an Internet Marketing Degree, HERE I AM at Wealthy Affiliate paying $20 at first then $47 (I think it is for our monthly membership) to LEARN from ACTUAL PEOPLE who have gone through the affiliate marketing world and have made it successfully! And actual people that are here to help all of us through trial & error! This community costs that much money? As opposed to me wasting money going to Full Sail to waste money on two years (no offense to anyone, & there's NOTHING wrong with earning a degree but I feel like BOTTOM LINE, coming to Wealthy Affiliate was the best choice I made for my life & education in affiliate marketing).

I feel like I just learned so much in these two lessons within two weeks then I ever could anywhere else! I feel like all this material we are getting, we are fortunate that Kyle & Carson are giving it to us for a cheap ass monthly fee! Can you guys just imagine the financial freedom we're going to have when we reach the same success they have? And for those of you who are new, (I've learned about affiliate marketing since 2008, so I know quit a bit) keep pushing with WA even if you can't afford the website, think about those that can't even afford college :( And how cheap this place is but so strong and informative!

Anyway, that's my life story haha jk this is just how I'm feeling right now at this moment 5:22 a.m. Utah time! I feel like because of this place WA, I have something new to learn everyday and something exciting to look forward too when I get up everyday! Please all feel free to write me :)
