ROTI- Return On Time Invested
We are fresh into the New Year and I'm sure most of you may be setting your goals/ resolutions. But I want to share something with you that, if implemented, will surely help you reach those some of those goals!
Return On Time Invested
Time is the one thing that no matter what, we can never get back. Even when are still, time is moving. A fortune can be lost and made back again but once times passes, it's gone for good.
Anything that you put your focus towards, you're literally INVESTING time into that particular thing or activity. A great goal to set for 2020 and beyond is to be mindful of everything you invest your time into and ask yourself what will your return be investing your time into that thing or activity.
Your return doesn't always have to be monetary, but the goal is to get some type of return in everything that you do and to eliminate or minimize doing things that doesn't yield any return what so ever.
Your Online Business
If you feel like you're slacking with working on your online business, just remember that you will be compensated for your time and effort. Its easy to slack by choosing to do other things such as scrolling mindlessly through social media, YouTube, watching movies, playing video games or anything else that takes up a lot of our time with no return in the end.
By knowing that your online business gives you a return for your time, this should be enough to motivate you to finish that post that you keep putting off for other things.
Wrapping Up
- Make A list of everything you enjoy doing
- Ask yourself what return do you get from investing time in each item on the list
- Eliminate or minimize the items that yield no return
- Replace them with things that do!
Happy New Year, I wish you all the best on your journey!
Good Luck & Much Success!!!
