I feel a lot like Lisa Nichols right now who said I am not a fast learner but I am a through learner. I have wracked my brain over keywords I just seemed to keep missing the point. And in no way claim to have a complete understanding now but I think I am getting a little closer.

I decided to give article writing another shot but I wanted it to be more focused I wanted to hit the first page of Google so I went through the training again but I branched out I just listened to people talk about keywords.

Most people may not need that but I realized I needed to hear it from different perspectives and finally I realized I was hearing but not really following the rules. My brain had been rewriting what I was hearing so I listened more until I really heard then I started the research.

I used the WA keyword research tool and the Google search tool - and a little bit of Kyle's alphabet soup method. What I realized was I needed to know what I wanted to write about - that was no problem but then I needed to know how people would search for it.

I also gained a better understanding of the internet and who was on the top three spots of the page I wanted so If the people at top were large organizations or major authorities I went about it differently using a different keyword phrase to rank.

I used keyword phrases that were actually found in Google as opposed to what I thought people should be looking for. (I still believe people should be looking for what I am looking for! What's wrong with them? :) )
