so i thought i was being clever and purchased my domain from godaddy for 99pence. Little did i know i then have to pay to transfer it over to Wa a
As far as I understand domain names, you don't have to transfer the domain, once you change the wa1 and wa2 it should point over to WA and the hosting will be at WA.

You shouldn't need to wait 60 days to change the nameservers. The 60-day rule is for transferring your site to another registrar. You are only changing hosting.
Next year, when it is time to renew the site would be the time to transfer the registration to WA. That cost is typically $13.99 but you will find that GoDaddy will charge much more for the renewal and then you still have to pay them for Privacy Protection (which is included with WA)
Registration is like buying a house, the registration is the street address and the hosting is the actual house where all of your contents reside.
Thank you soo much for that, maybe i will call them. I also purchased the Privacy protection and then had to unlock that too..lol
If i knew all this beforehand i woukd have just purchased it from and got less headache🤦🏻♀️. oh well. its all a learning curve i guess.
