The Journey So Far

6 weeks ago I was browsing the internet looking for a new hobby, business idea or residual income opportunity to get my teeth into when I stumbled across Wealthy Affiliate.

Up until the this point the only real attention I had given to Affiliate Marketing was when pressing skip on the adverts that used to pop up on You Tube when watching either a video by Tony Robbins or Jim Rohn. However 6 weeks later I am a fully signed up Premium Member of Wealthy Affiliate and nearing the end of my Level 2 training (I have even managed to sneak in a 2 week family break to the Costa Blanca which led to a little downtime).

Although I haven't as of yet made made any income, I have fully enjoyed working through the training programme creating my first website (coolbudgetfamilyholidays.com) as well as creating new pages and posts. This has been quite a leap forward in technological education for me as 6 weeks ago I was pretty much limited to navigating my way round my inbox in my day job and reviewing an endless amount of Excel spreadsheet.

I have also enjoyed the warmth of the community spirit within Wealthy Affiliate. As although the many members of Wealthy Affiliate are all working on their own individual projects to achieve their individual goals there does appear to be a real collective team spirit here as everyone looks to help each other which is a quality which can sometimes be lacking in the real world.

Going forwards I look forward to working through the remainder of the training, interacting with fellow community members and ultimately seeing where the journey will eventually take me.
