When our posts are indexed?

Anyone else curous about this?
After i've published a new blog post and then I do the checklist (including submitting it to google inspection) a couple of days later I get an email from WA congratulating me for my post being indexed. How does WA know this? Are there secrete little google helper elves at work in WA to find out about this and then let me know. I've been curious about this for a while now.
