Don't Stare Too Hard

I know that it's very hard not to do this, once you start publishing content on your website. I was the same when I first started out, I would log in every morning and look where my posts were listing in the google rankings. It started to become a bad habit as it would distract me from other things that are important in my business.

What I've learnt over the years and is covered well here at Wealthy Affiliate is to stop staring at rankings so much, let your website mature and once you start publishing content on a regular basis consistently, and do the keyword research properly as shown, over time you website will just pop, and all of a sudden you'll start climbing the google ladder.

When you first create a website, your the new kid on the block, Google will look at you quickly then ignore you.......then once you start playing by the rules, posting quality content, getting comments and also making sure you are responding to people, all of a sudden Google will take notice.

Not every post is going to get to page 1 - some will hit the jackpot and some won't, that's just how it is, but the main thing is to just post content regularly so that your site health is always in the green. This is a great tool within WA as you can always keep tabs on your websites progress.
