Can My SiteRubix Admin Username Get Hacked?
Hi, I know I just started 2 days ago but I've been warned that people can hack the admin username on my SiteRubix.com domain. Should I delete my account with the admin username and create my own custom username or should I leave it alone because of how WA hosts everything themselves & protects against this as it is? Any help over this is very much appreciated. :)

Yes, they can be hacked, but yours will not be hacked. The reason admin usernames are hacked so frequently is because these hackers use brute force, dictionary hacks. They essentially walk through the dictionary word by word and attempt all of these words, then add corresponding numbers.
Ex. money12
Would likely be easily exposed. That is why we randomly generate passwords to keep your accounts secured. :) We also watch for hacking activity 24/7 behind the scenes.
Thank you Kyle for the explanation & for protecting me. The idea of somebody hacking into my website and taking advantage of my work is pretty gruesome. I'll keep using the password that was generated for me and stick to the admin username then.
You can create your own user account if you want as well within the WP-admin area, if you want to create a user like "Scarlett" and you can set your own password. This way all of the content is posted under Scarlett, not admin. :)
You will see this under Users.
