site content keeps trying to save, but after trying for a few it says something along the lines of "oops cannot save"
Hey Santino,
Hope you saved your content on your computer. Have tested SiteContent just now and it works fine.
I recommend you give it another try after refreshing your browser. If you STILL get that "oops" prompt, then contact Carson in a private message.

Be sure to click on "Report Content" so that your message will go to Carson and not a classroom.
Hope this helps you.
My site content is not saving progress?

Thanks. After about an hour of it not saving, it just started working again. Thanks again for the help.

I created my .com site and there is a delete button on my .siterubix site. can i delete the siterubix one now?
You can delete any website at any time if you wish, but I would follow Carson's advice below :-)
That is a good question and I see that Carson has already answered it. Personally, I like to have a back-up in place because you never know.
My input on backups that follows is not directly related to your question but is perhaps useful as you move forward building your online business...
Although backups are done through SiteRubix hosting you may want to consider doing a backup yourself in addition to that one...In my experience, it has been helpful...
Sometimes plugin updates or database updates will screw up the operation of the theme. That is when having a ready backup really helps you.
This can happen no matter where you are getting hosting...
Food for thought...
Congrats on getting your own domain, BTW! That represents a commitment and intent! Best of luck!
Cheers!

Thank you for the input Dave. I'll have to come back to you so you can further explain how to back up.
Hi Santino,
If you initially built the site on a SiteRubix domain then moved it over to a registered domain, then you may want to keep the site rubix one for about 30 days just to make sure any rankings in the search engines move over to the new domain. That’s why we place the redirect that tells the search engines that the content has moved.
Give it 30 days then delete it.
If you don't need it anymore you can delete it in the SiteManager.
Click in details there and scroll down to find the delete button.

i haven't started my site yet and i am unclear on which option i use to get started. In the video it showed free, but i didn't know if i should use the same or if i should
It is best to start free site 1st to build your initial ideas and test your method on how you wanted your site to be. Once everything is good to go, having your own domain of which personalized as your own, is a must. All the best my friend.
